Bill Schumacher, SVP, Market Leader:
My name is Bill Schumacher. I’m a Senior Vice President Market Leader for the Stark, Wayne, and Richland county markets. I’ve been with the bank for six years. And the reason I came here is just because it’s a bigger, stronger community bank. I knew some people that had worked here, who had great reputations and I thought it was in the best interest of my clients to come here – to come over to a community bank with more resources.

Jim LaRocca, SVP, Controller:
I think what sets Westfield Bank apart is our small, community feel. We’re working with our customers. We really view it as a joint partnership with our customers. We want them to succeed, and with their success, we’re able to succeed. We’re small enough to where we are able to really know all of our customers and provide that one-on-one service. That’s one of the main reasons that attracted me to Westfield Bank as well – being able to know all the employees here, being able to know who does what, and how we can better serve our customers.

Matt Berthold, Chief Operating Officer:
What I love most about the company is the employees and the customers. We have a very active and engaged team of employees and their focus is always on the customer.

Cori Frey, Customer Resource Center Team Lead:
Westfield Bank is always the first to recognize that my work is being valued. And there’s a great work-life balance, as well, and just the welcoming culture. I can pretty much tell you or know of someone in every department that works here. You have the opportunity to build relationships, whether it’s with internal customers or employees, but also external customers. They always tell us how much they appreciate our help. I think that being able to be a part of the organization and getting involved is really important. They allow anybody and everybody in the organization to do so.

Bill Schumacher, SVP, Market Leader:
I think what excites me is it’s a bank that is not satisfied with being average. It’s a bank that wants to continue to grow, and achieve, and get better at what they do. We are constantly looking at ways to do that.

Matt Berthold, Chief Operating Officer:
If you want to be part of something and experience a lot of different areas, a community bank is the right place for that. Westfield Bank, in particular, is the right place for that because things are always changing, things are always evolving. If you are looking for opportunities to get involved in something new, a lot of times at a larger financial institution, your role is focused. You are kind of doing one thing, day in and day out. But if you’re looking for a multitude of opportunities, you can find that here.
