Jarrod Long, SVP, Treasury Management Leader:
When it comes to Treasury Management, all businesses need some sort of treasury services. Our philosophy is, “We want that client to be able to bank directly from their office and not need to come into a branch.” One thing we do well, as we bring on new customers, is we really try to lift that relationship up. We want the lender or the market leader to focus on the lending piece, and then the treasury team focuses on the deposits. One of the things we pride ourselves on is that connection with the customer and that face-to-face connection. 

Jen Wigal, Commercial Deposit Officer:
We take the time to listen and we come up with solutions to help them and to make sure we are a better or the best fit for them. We can dive in on the deposit part of the relationship, online banking, treasury management pieces, and things like that. 

Jarrod Long, SVP, Treasury Management Leader:
I really feel it’s important when they’re calling the bank, they’re getting someone on the other end of that phone that knows them and knows their business. 

Kari Deeks, Treasury Management Specialist:
They’re looking for that one-on-one interaction with a small-town bank. I just had a customer call me yesterday. He said that he was looking to leave a bigger bank because he’s starting to notice that when he walks in the door of a bank he always goes to, they’re asking for his ID every single time he goes in. He’s looking for a bank that’s going to recognize him, recognize who he is, what his business is, know him on a personal level, and not have to worry about not knowing his face when he walks in the door. 

Jen Wigal, Commercial Deposit Officer:
Our organic growth comes from referrals and networking. We like to spend our time and our money on relationships and face-to-face interactions. We can also offer our customers an entertainment aspect, as well. We’re inviting them to golf outings, mixers, speaker series, things like that. 

Kari Deeks, Treasury Management Specialist:
I think we’re growing and expanding, even in the past year. We’re a really core team and we have some senior people, who have been with this team for quite a while now. We work together as a really great unit. I see this team expanding and growing, while staying one tight unit.

Jarrod Long, SVP, Treasury Management Leader:
I think that we take a very simple approach to banking. We understand that a business owner has a lot going on in their daily activities. So, how can we make it as efficient as possible for that customer? And one of the things we do better is taking care of the clients when they need us. It’s a combination of all those things that has really enabled us to be successful.
